Miroslava Albiter was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. She studied International Relations and Political Science at Texas State University and furthered her education at the University of New York in Prague, focusing on international law and security studies. Throughout her academic journey, she gained valuable experience working at various organizations, including the Education Abroad Office at Texas State University, where she supported international students.

Miroslava served  as the Advancement Operations Coordinator at Austin Opera, where she expertly manages donor relations and coordinates major events. Her previous role at the General Consulate of Mexico in Austin allowed her to organize community events focused on education and cultural exchange. She has also worked in law offices, gaining experience in personal injury, family law, and civil litigation. As a certified Project Management Professional and bilingual Spanish-English translator, she brings a unique blend of skills to her work.

In her free time, Miroslava enjoys reading, dancing, and visiting her family’s ranch in Mexico. She remains passionate about justice, education, women’s rights, and supporting migrant communities.
